Well after the 6 hour trip I made it.
I made it to the huge, exciting, adventurous, beautiful, mountainous state of DE! Ok, that was joke. Most of people have never been in DE, and if they have that don't realize that they have. Story of me life.
So....this week I don't have many plans, maybe for the first time since school started. I am going to see the Messiah (college that is) tomorrow night. Holler. I plan on eating. And uniting people through the wonderful game of catchphrase.
Anyway. Its time to do laundry and watch tv - two things i have no done in a while!!!
On another note - is this is a good or bad idea: No Shave November and December, women style?

Congo
So today, instead of going to class I did the following:
- Voted
- Got free Starbucks
- Read about the War in Congo
Out of those three, most of the World would argue that the most important thing is the Voting.
I disagree. The War in Congo is where the attention of the World should be. Instead it is on two men, not the millions displaced and the thousands dead.
It hurts me to think that there is little I can do to help. I can't go - they won't let me.
If I give money the odds of it going to help the hungry, dying, and homeless is slim. Most of the Aid can't even get in, and if they get into the zones, they are finding refugee camps empty out of fear.
The only thing i can think to do it pray. Pray for peace, for the stopping of violence, for God to be at work. I know that God is sovereign. His heart is breaking over all of this and he is working. I know this.
So while the World waits to see who the Next US president is, I wait to see how God is working in Congo. And what is being done to give these people. The people over there need food. Most are dying from lack of food and meds.
Jesus, give them hope.
